Fantasyland

The budget for the Greek cultural establishment has been slashed to the bone.  Appeals are being made to other EU members for yet more cash.  So what better time than to launch a grandiose new campaign to repatriate the Elgin Marbles and other Greek antiquties to the bankrupt Hellenic Republic?

  1. Perhaps you are confusing the "Independent Voluntary Movement for the Repatriation of the Looted Greek Antiquities" with a state initiative.

If one of your law firm's clients has something stolen, and they get it back, who would you suggest pays the expenses, the thief or the victim?

  2. I did not say it was a state initiative, but it would not surprise me if the group was associated in some way. It would be interesting to find out more about this group.
