A Turkish Scholar's Critique of Turkey's Hardball Tactics

A renowned Turkish historian, Dr Edhem Eldem, has critiqued Turkey's recent nationalistic hardball tactics here.    Will any American archaeologists be brave enough to speak up?   And what of the archaeological blogosphere?

    "all these instances reveal a tendency to favour conflict over negotiation in finding a solution"
    tell us something we dont know. a very intresting article,especially the part were the turks feel like outsiders when it comes to the archaeology beneath their soil and of course the attempts to rewrite history which in some cases is still going on today.at least this guy is telling it as it is.
